For ceramic fiber lining, lock washers, ceramic ferrules, fix pins, speed fix washers, insultwist stud, and various modular anchors are used. The stainless steel anchors of 321 grades are highly corrosion-resistant and also resistant to intergranular corrosion. When working at temperature scope of 427-816 degree C, the formation of chromium carbide precipitation is common. Resistant to this precipitation is also seen in anchors made of SS 321. Also, resistant to oxidation is maintained at temperature 816 degrees C. At low temperatures, high toughness and stress properties are seen.

Anchors SS 321 is useful for applications where scaling resistance, high strength, phase stability; aqueous corrosion resistance is needed at 900 degrees C temperature. Flaring test, ultrasonic test, IIGC and PMI test, hardness test, tensile test and other are the test of importance.
